Christian friendship poems are my fondest writings, since I can take the art of rhyming words and weave them together with my God, my Savior, and the Spirit of God, and He lifts these words to INSPIRE us!

He actually speaks to us. But you must be quiet enough to listen.

GOD DESIRES TO INSPIRE US! God's Holy Spirit invites us to be in relationship with God. Our friendships, especially our Best Friend Sisters, invite us to be in relationship with each other.

That is how God created us -- with a desire deep in our hearts --for relationships, for friendships, for time spent together with those we love.

An Inspirational Poem Just For YOU

God's Holy Spirit rests on us, as we begin this day.
His desire is to love us and lead us on His way.
He takes our hand in His, and tugs at it with care,
For He knows we sometimes feel unsure; we cannot see Him there.

Where will God's Spirit lead as we travel down His path?
Each day He gives us all we need, to live, to love, to laugh,
He inspires us and fills us with His Presence so serene.
If we will but trust in Him, His glory we will glean.

The Prophet, Jeremiah foretold of the downfall of the Israelite nation, but He also reminded us in these verses, that God will bless those who remain true to Him. I hope this Christian Inspirational Poem will keep you focused on God's Love today.

God Sends You -- An Inspirational Friendship Poem

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart. I will be found by you," declares the Lord. Jer. 29:11-14 NIV

God Knows Your Plan

God knows the PLANS He has for me.
They will cause me no alarm.
For God declares most faithfully,
His PLANS will do no harm.

Instead He PLANS to give me LIFE,
To rely on Him to cope.
It will not be so impossible
For He has promised HOPE.

He PLANS for me a FUTURE, but
Down His path I must pace.
All honor goes to Him alone
He has given me His Grace.

I must CALL upon Him now!
And come to Him in prayer.
He promised me He'd LISTEN;
He has promised me His care.

I must Him most deeply SEEK!
In His Word, He is found there.
Yes, I will FIND you Lord, today,
Through worship, Word and prayer.

But I must SEEK with ALL my HEART
No portion can I keep.
I must surrender everything
Then, He will PROSPER me with peace.

Jesus Had a Friend

When Jesus started His public ministry.

He knew all about the team approach;

So very carefully He chose the dozen men

Who would become The Team that He'd coach.

It tells us in the book of Luke, that Jesus

Stayed up all night to pray.

God talked with God; the choice had been made.

Father blessed The Team that day.

There was Andrew, Peter and Bartholomew,

James, the son of Zebedee and his brother John,

Thaddaeus, Philip, Matthew and Judas,

Another James, Thomas and Simon came along.

Three years went by; the time had come

Jesus must give His life on the cross.

His Team was very frightened, unsure

How could they ever bear the loss?

On the night of His final Supper

With His Team, He ate the Passover meal.

He then took them to Gethsemane;

He asked them to pray for His ordeal.

He asked The Team to stay with Him

To pray for Him, and their watch to keep.

His soul was overwhelmed with sorrow,

But TheTeam just fell asleep.

Jesus was arrested in that garden

Betrayed by a kiss pre-arranged;

How impossible for us to imagine such Love,

It was Judas, He called His Friend.
